Your dremel takes a half inch bite out of your finger and you go right back to what you were doing after it's bandaged up.
Pics or it didn't happen....

This one was a quick gusher, but it healed nicely.

I haven't spent much time in this sub-forum, but this post makes me think I really should.

I think I belong in this forum since when I am at work (I work on transit buses) I am always trying to figure out what I can salvage from replaced parts to make into mods.

I have started a collection of tiny 2A tactile micro switches, have a ton of brass fittings and connectors, and have been collecting the bottoms from parking brake valves with the intention of making a handful of wooden/metal mods. The mod will be called the PP1 (the name of the valve), and as soon as I have some time I may actually start working on it! Heck, today I tore apart an accelerator pedal to see if I could use the potentiometer out of it (a bit too big).

...your bedroom computer desk looks like a novice bomb-builder's workshop.

...you make your future son-in-law (who's an EE) dumber by asking electronic questions that have no relevance to his NASA project.

...you have half a dozen different regulators in a pile and you know the specs of each one

...you keep a roll of electrical tape at your workspace, because it works as a bandage, too.

Now that you brought all that together in a single place, they must have no doubt about anything. :) Just how important is being able to fly on a plane anyways?
