When you consider vaping as a hobby 
Last time I counted how many tanks I had and when was the last time I cleaned them gave me a headache... I use them for a month or so, and along comes a new one.
When it takes 8 hours to clean all your tanks and rebuild them then another 2 hours to make your juices.
When you walk up to a total stranger and start a conversation because he's vaping. Then you pull out your vape with pride to show you're in the club too.
Nah, that just means you chose your equipment unwisely.

When I was young, manufacturing cost rule of thumb for cigarettes was $0.12/pack. I'm sure it's somewhat more now, but DAAAAmn, AU gov really wants ya to quit. My last carton came out $2.60/pack back in Jan '18

I am sometimes surprised by the importance of airflow noise to some. I never really was too bothered by a little whistle, or the like, but it is very important to many, it seems.
I used to be able to tell when someone had their TV on, merely by walking past their house. The medium frequency squeal of old flyback HV systems was unmistakable. But I could live with tank noise.
Selective attention, maybe.
And old age hearing loss!
I am one of those that benches noisy attys if loud. If it has a whistle I can't rectify with coil placement out it goes, drives me batty.
When your car breaks down and you don't have any car repair tools in the car so you pull out your coil building kit to see if you have a tool in there (like the handy needlenose pliers) that will work for the problem at hand because you don't leave home without everything for vaping - but you do leave home without actual tools in the car.. lol
