So I'm tossing around the idea of mixing up a Honey and Cinnamon Ice Cream inspired e-liquid.

Honey-Cinnamon Ice Cream Recipe | Epicurious.com

I have these flavors to play with;

Cinnamon Spice TFA
Cinnamon Red Hot TFA
Cinnamon Flavor TFA
Honey Clover LA
Black Honey tobacco TFA
Honey TFA
Vanilla Swirl TFA
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream TFA
Brown Sugar Extra TFA
Bavarian Cream TFA
Whipped Cream TFA
Marshmallow LA or TFA

What might you use from this list and at what percentage?

As always additional suggestions are hugely welcome.

I think I'd like honey to be the predominant flavor, I love to add honey to Greek yogurt.
Cinnamon I'd like to come off as if it was just lightly dusted on at the last moment, more a garnish than anything.
Of course I want the full rich texture thing.

Being a total novice at DIY, listen to me at your own risk:

I would omit vanilla swirl, black honey tobacco, cinnamon red hot and cinnamon spice, and whipped cream entirely, or it's overkill.

So, that leaves:

Cinnamon Flavor TFA
Honey Clover LA
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream TFA
Brown Sugar Extra TFA
Bavarian Cream TFA
Marshmallow LA or TFA

Let me look at the recipe closer....

Do you happen to have sweet cream?

I'm searching the threads for help with percentages - other recipes using vanilla bean ice cream...

Here's what I snagged to start with:

Dragonfruit - 10%
Strawberry - 4%
Bavarian Cream - 2%
Sweet Cream - 1%
Vanilla Swirl - 3%
Ethyl Maltol - 1%

and

"The most successful mix I made was 8% TFA vanilla bean ice cream plus 8% TFA strawberry" from DeloresRose

Still looking...

I'm still very much open to suggestions.

So I tossed this together;

30ml at 6mg/ml, 50:50 PG/VG

15ml (50%) VG
5.7ml (19.0%) PG
3.75ml (12.5%) 48mg/ml 100% PG nicotine
3.0ml (10%) Vanilla Swirl TFA
1.5ml (5.0%) Bavarian Cream TFA
0.6ml (2.0%) Brown Sugar Extra TFA
0.3ml (1.0%) Honey Clover LA
0.075ml (0.25%) Marshmallow LA
0.075ml (0.25%) Cinnamon Flavor TFA

Now how long to steep? Open or closed? Shake daily or just forget it exists?

All I know is it smells like autumn in a little country shop, hand made candles maybe; a quick shake and 1ml sample tastes of honey mostly.

I'm excited to know how this turned out. If it smells decent, that's half the battle right there....I'm interested in this recipe also.

Let us know when you sample it.

I noticed you omitted the vanilla bean ice cream - any particular reason?

I'm going to toss together a batch with the Vanilla Bean Ice Cream later this evening, the Vanilla Swirl is new to me so I figured if I'm going to play with new ingredients ... why not. My initial thought is I could dial way back on the Vanilla Swirl but I'll let her sit and do her thing for now.

My 1ml taste sampling was very clearly clover honey but more behind the vanilla, the juice itself has a smell that is coming off certainly very nice.

If you like a very rich smooth mouth feel, this might do the trick without going over the top with throat hit at lower nic levels.

I'm not yet getting the cinnamon taste, but it is contributing to the scent, it needs time to blend or I'm just not able to taste it in this mix.

I'll put up whatever I throw together for version 2 later this evening. I'm truly enjoying the whole DIY thing, mistakes and successes all.

I can't thank everyone enough for their contributions to this section of the forum. Every bit of info is helpful.

The second version is not changed except the vanilla bean ice cream takes the place of vanilla swirl.

This results in a lower total percentage of flavoring, right at 5% less to be exact.

A note about the last two ingredients, to make measuring easy I first mixed equal parts (0.5ml of each) then drew up 0.15ml of the combined flavors. I find this easier than trying to get 0.075ml measured out.

30ml at 6mg/ml, 50:50 PG/VG

15ml (50%) VG
7.2ml (24.0%) PG
3.75ml (12.5%) 48mg/ml 100% PG nicotine
1.5ml (5.0%) Vanilla Bean Ice Cream TFA
1.5ml (5.0%) Bavarian Cream TFA
0.6ml (2.0%) Brown Sugar Extra TFA
0.3ml (1.0%) Honey Clover LA
0.075ml (0.25%) Marshmallow LA
0.075ml (0.25%) Cinnamon Flavor TFA
