I didn't buy any vape gear in 2020 (because I stopped vaping in October 2019). So I guess the last gear I bought in 2019 will have to do since it was a favorite.

For my last buy on 6/18/19 I added a Matt Steel Wotofo Profile Mesh rda to the other 9 of them that I already had. From the first of them I bought on 9/5/18 they had been the best atty game changers in all of the years that I vaped. They were all ran on mech squonk mods, and I used all of them almost daily. But the top mod combo for them for me was the 5 of them that I ran on Reo P67's. These 5 setups were my all time favorites.

This picture has been posted on ECF a lot of times... but one more time shouldn't hurt too much. ;)

This'll be convoluted...

I became enamored of mesh rebuildables (once I figured out the wicking... using my own wick), and collected a bunch of mesh RTAs.

I'd always been a fan of top air RTAs and RDTAs for their lack of leakiness.

But that's not it...

After years of knocking/bashing pod systems, I wound up with a Skillet Box. Yeah, I consider it a pod system... It was OK, buy still not all that for me.

Then I saw the Vandy Vape Kylin M AIO. Mesh AND BB form factor AND RDTA style build deck. I jumped on that.

That made me want to reevaluate my stance on AIOs. Since then, I've acquired a Mulus, a DotAIO, a Gemini, and a Ratel.

I still can't stand dedicated/disposable pod systems/AIOs, but they AIOs with RBAs and swappable batteries have changed my mind quite a bit.

So, the winner for 2020 is the Vandy Vape Kylin M AIO as it was, for me, truly a game changer.

Atomizer wise for me the big winner is the Hellvape Destiny RTA.
Love that little thing, love it so much i actually got 2 of them.
Easy wicking and coil placement,no leaking and excellent flavor.

Mod wise:

Hmm tough call,i like my Asmodus Colossals but my go to mod is the Vandy Vape Jackaroo,i just like them mods big, sturdy and that can take a beating.

Three way tie between xkfm ss316 staggered staple wire, recurve RDAs, and a collection of topsides.
Put them all together and I'm in my happy place.

I forgot about my recurves, don't know why because I use them all the time. I guess I should mention another purchase for 2020 that I have been happy with, that's the Vandy Vape Requiem RDA. I generally like dual coil RDAs but it's actually a pretty nice single coil atomizer.

My only complaint about the requiem is the coil could have been ss316 or another TC alloy. It doesn't play well with my favorite wire type either, but the coil it comes with is very nice.

I would have to go with the Lost Vape Grus, I have 2 and got 2 more coming, in nearly 8 years of vaping, never bought 4 of the same mod.

Dual 18650's too bulky for my liking, but single 18650 doesn't last the day for me, so single 21700 works awesome for me, even though the Grus is rather tall, it is pretty thin, so gets away with it.

For around $30 a piece, don't think will find another quality mod for that price.

Any opinions on the LV Ursa? I almost pulled the trigger on two of them. It basically looks like a Grus to me with fascinating modularity.

2020 was the year I went back to strictly MTL vaping and also started Squonking. Bought several squonkers that left me disappointed until I bought the Topside 90 w. Liked it so much I bought another. I have found my sweet spot. This is the second one I bought, though both have the same RDA, the Geekvape MTL RDA.
