What did you think of big willys custard? Here's my quest for the perfect custard so far:
Charlie Noble - liked it but it was my first custard and I need to go back an revisit now that I'm more 'experienced' with custards. From memory - just the right amount of sweetness without being sickly. Nicely balanced vanilla custard.
Digby's Mums Custard (also Certified DA/AP free) - overall not a sweet custard at all which makes it unique - it has a spicy undertone too. I like it - it's different from your typical sweet vanilla custard. The 80/20 is very smooth, a little sweeter. The 50/50 has a more pronounced spiciness and throat hit. I also did a 50/50 mix of each (ie one bottle of 80/20 added to one bottle of 50/50). So that was somewhere in between.
Outerworld Castor - thick, rich custard with spicy cinammon notes on the exhale. I really like this custard a lot - I'm trying not to dip into it as it's not ready yet. It's an Australian brand so you need to add your own nicotine to it as you can't buy liquid with nic already in it. This one needs another week, but it's getting better and better each day I sample it.
Waiting on Vape mail for: Big Willies - Im a huge fan of caramel so I think the butterscotch might be up my alley.
Vagabond Vapour Kraków Custard - waiting on this too - seems to be a vanilla custard with an apple pie element.
On the list to buy: Dillinger, Grant's, Nicoickets CLS and Charlie Noble (again)
Are we looking at custards with fruit elements as well or just straight vanilla custards? Coz I just found a beauty!
Vape Wild offers "Max VG" as an option for all their juices. It's listed as being 80%+ VG.
You can drip any VG/PG blend you want, doesn't have to be high in VG.
Does occ come with a 70 or 80vg? Can you drip it?
What did you think of big willys custard?
I kind of agree with you. Did you get the 50 50 or max vg?Well this is interesting. It's been steeping since May and I got it last week. I've been vaping it on and off for a week now and I have to say I'm a little disappointed and here's why...
It's got a prominent butterscotch note which is very forward and overpowers any creamy custard note.
To me, it's more a butterscotch vape than a custard vape. The balance is all wrong. If you love butterscotch you love this but as a custard lover, caramel lover, (and lover of dessert vapes in general) this didn't translate into me loving this juice. I don't know if you could call this a custard vape. Maybe a creamy butterscotch vape? Will I vape the bottle - yes. Will I buy it again - no. If you want to give it a shot get the 15ml bottle which I did. I like that they offer 15ml.
I'm still working through it, I'll update this post again in a few hours. I guess I really wanted to like this and I just didn't so I'm a bit bummed about it, but I'm hoping that if I try a few different setups something might happen and I'll go 'aha!'
Max VG - and my review still stands after vaping it some more. It's not a bad juice by any means, it's just not really a custard in my book.
Next one on my list to try is Villain Vapor's Dillinger which is touted as a caramel vanilla custard, my two favourite flavors in one.
Sorta felt the same way about big willies, It definitely had a butterscotch flavor with something I wouldn't call custard as well. I am vaping dillinger right now as I saw on their website a 50% off sale so I grabbed a 120ml as I bought a 15ml a while back and liked it alot.
