i have several carbon fiber. i had a abalone but it blew up twice and will no longer be repaired. i decided i don't really like the abalone so much now though. i think i will go for wood or leather next. i just like the brand because of the finishes they offer. strictly on looks do you think a wood duo or a tan leather triade? or just say whatever finish you like from them.

I just ordered a red leather Triade. The red seems more like a dark brown from the photos, certainly not a bright red leather. The leathers are the only current choice for the Triade, but I have a feeling addon replacements will become available down the road.
I would stay away from the wood, they are paper thin and you have to apply them to the sticky back but they don't quite cover it, they are not like the Carbon and Abalone ones. I love the yellow Abalone, I'm not usually a fan of yellow but this looks really nice. My other half will post a picture later for you.

emma, i assume you have the mini? mine of which blew up twice. of course that was just my bad luck. i have a bunch of lost vape products going strong. i ask because the one you speak of with the wood, the abalone applies the same way. if you try to pull up the abalone once it is secure it will crack. as will the wood and carbon fiber. so much for user replaceable battery. these are not exactly high end mods but they do look and function(for the most part) quite nicely.
