#1 no, not always, different juices act differently at different temps, like fruits taste better to me at a cooler vape, and some tobaccos and darker juices at warmer vapes, it's all a personal preference and what taste best to you, there is no best set up it's what's best for YOU. !!!

#2 I enjoy tank Atty set ups best, whether it be a reg type Atty in a tank, a G-Tank Genesis type, or using and iAtty even but tank Atty's are my fav.
