For the first time since I've quit analogs and switched happily and quickly to vaping, I haven't really felt sick, and even better, haven't gotten a migraine. I've just been pretty healthy, some days bad, other days amazing.

...Until today, when I woke up with a slight headache. It gets better, then worse, then better, and it's been at worse for the rest of the night, including right now. It's not a nic overdose, that's for sure, and I've drank plenty of water. I might just be coming down with something... ugh.

My biggest problem was vaping. I couldn't find ANY flavor that wouldn't make my head hurt worse because of how potent or strong it was, especially Snickerdoodle and Candy Cane. (I didn't even want to TEST my red wines so I'm gonna assume that they would've been killer x_x;;). The only flavors I could vape somewhat successfully was Peach and Zebra Gum, only because they're "soft", but they still kinda sorta messed with my head.

What are some good "I'm sick and nothing else tastes/feels right" flavors? Any good suggestions?

I would have someone go to the store and get PG and VG and a light fruit flavoring. Mix about 50/50 PG/VG and then add some flavoring to your taste. Start at 10% and work from there. I wouldn't vape nic simply because it hits your bloodstream very quickly and could be causing the headache to return as you stated. Strawberry is a very light flavor and so is watermelon in my opinion.

Well, I thought it might have been the nicotine, but the headache has been here since the morning. I started off the morning with Peach and nothing changed, the headache was just... there. Then about an hour later, I had a cup of coffee, and was fine. In the middle of my coffee, I decided to vape some Snickerdoodle and that's what REALLY kicked my headache into overdrive. The flavor was killer. Sooo... I switched back to Peach. I tried three other flavors, but not one after another, and they all made my headache slightly worse. The only other one that didn't was Peach X_x... Weird, though.

I do want to get some PG/VG and try to make a "I'm sick" flavor X_X Thank you for your advice. I don't know that it wasn't the nicotine for sure, so this can definitely help me :)

Sounds to me like you've caught the flu bug that's been running around. My hubby has pneumonia right now. I've been telling him this for the last 2 months to go to a different doctor. MEN! They never listen to their wives! Now he's really paying for it. I hope you get to feeling better quickly.

 Men. They can be difficult... ...but then again I'm difficult when it comes to doctors, too...

I really, really hope I don't have any stomach bug or flu, that'll be horrible for the New Year!!

PG can cause some really weird reactions in people. What is the ratio you're using?

I vape at 80/20 PG/VG. It's never bothered me before, though. I like the throat hit, and it's not overbearing. I also don't use extra flavoring, it would be too much for me. I think my lucky strike for not being sick is getting rained on...

Bummer, I was going to suggest Peach. Its such a nice mellow flavor that I figured it might be "soothing". I know when I get my migraines (btw, i get the far less now than when i smoked, but do still get them) I want to make sure it is something very smooth on my throat, last thing i want to do when i have a migraine is cough.

Actually, the last thing i want to do when i have a migraine is move. At all. But since that isn't very practical i usually settle for just not coughing and trying to be in a very very dark room.

I tend to get sinus headaches when the barometric pressure is going down. Rarely when it's high, except during pollen season. Definitely environmental allergies.

Is it at all possible that you have a sinus headache? They don't go away with regular meds, like Aspirin or Advil...but will go away with Sudafed or Advil/Tylenol Sinus or something like that. Oh and don't try the OTC PE stuff...it doesn't work. You have to go to the pharmacist and sign for the real Sudafed or stuff with Pseudoephedrine in it.

I've found that if I have a sinus headache, the vaping will make it worse...or steady. I can take ONE Sudafed and a couple of Advil and have no more headache that day. The sooner you "catch" it, the quicker it'll go away with meds, too. If they get worse throughout the day, it's hard to totally get rid of it.

You can try a hot compress on your forehead and across your nose/cheekbones and see if you get post nasal drainage. If so, that might be your problem.

Beware of using this stuff if you have high blood pressure. It makes the BP go even higher.

If you feel like that again, try Halo Menthol Ice. Seems to take care of my nic fit and not make my headache worse. I've been lucky though. I do get killer knock you on the floor migranes during which I can do nothing including speak; them I still have occasionally, but other than that, I haven't gotten sick since I switched to vaping.
