I'm new to vaporizers, & I just ordered a 901 & supplies from Vapor Guys, although I think I overpaid. Regardless, if this doesn't work out, I'm out $75, not the end of the world. I'm concerned about supply; I get the distinct impression that the supply of e-cig devices & fluid is tenuous. Just going by what's on this forum, you've got: an uncertain exportation ban in China, the source of all things e-cig; domestic distribution that's entirely dependent on importation; the whole Puresmoker frenzy, etc. Generally, you can't just run up to a smokeshop & buy a pack of cartridges & a replacement vaporizer - do you think this will change? What about your domestic suppliers as they are today, do you worry that they won't restock, or that they might close up shop altogether? Seems to me that at a moment's notice, domestic suppliers won't have a line into China for their e-cig stock, & *poof* there goes your habit, in a cloud of smoke (vapor?).

Actually, you probably didn't get overcharged at vapor guys. Their prices are very competitive with the best + cheapest distributors. I ordered a passthrough from them and received in three days. Pretty good imo (i don't work for vapor guys).

As per your question, the best way to assure you can e-smoke for a while is to figure out if you like it and then get in on a bulk order to china. There are usually people willing to organize an order of liquid in the classified section. I might organize a bulk liquid order (only for US users of this forum) if the order i've got into china right now comes through.

I know what you mean... With all of this fear going around, it sure hasn't stopped people from starting E-Cig businesses as they have been popping up left and right. I am hopeful that they are on the right side of this, because I sure don't want to lose my e-cigs!

Remember, thouugh, with the current state of things - bulk orders are the ones that are getting "Noticed" by customs and inspected, held, detained . . .

I know, i am waiting patientialy for the east cost bulk order to come through. I've got about 100 dollars in on that one, if everything goes ok with that, i will start up my bulk order for liquid only to us customers. I plan on handling it like freddo does for the europeans.

I'll keep an eye out for it when you set up a post for bulk liquid.... If I haven't blown all my $$ by then :D

The big '100' posting!!! Now voicing my opinion in triple digits!

I'll echo what everyone else said, Vapor Guys pricing is competitive - the chinese suppliers look cheaper until you factor in shipping when you are dealing with a kit and a couple extras; you need bigger orders to make ity pay from China. As for the supply question, I think we are all guessing and watching to see what happens, no-one really knows.

Regarding overpayment, I've only been shopping around at U.S. sites, & Vapor Guys charges $55 for the 901 (black - only model available), & PureSmoker has a variety of 901's for $50. So yeah, I'm only talking about $5 or so. The trade-off is that Vapor Guys sold me 10 pre-filled, 0 mg menthol cartridges, which I couldn't find at the other sites. So, I'm stoked!

With the regular suppliers you see here on the forum like VG and PS, prices usually (not always but usually) balance out. One might charge more for kits but less for carts, or more for atomizers, less for batteries, etc.

Also even if the products appear to be the same they aren't necessarily exactly the same. It's not just about the clones (DSE vs RN), but I've noticed some sellers have yucky primer, others don't, for example.
