Yup without the link this thread doesn't hold much water.
My pet peeve is a 40 minute review in which 20 minutes are spent finding a pair of scissors for the "detailed unboxing". Plan ahead people....harrumph.
While I agree with the fact that we need to reasearch the products ourselves, saying that all reviewers out there are doing it for freebies is just not true... And I think it is ungrateful to think that way.
The amount of time that they have to put into it, doing the research, do the review itself, edit the videos, buying good cameras and mics, respond to comments, etc etc... far exceed the price of the x tank or the y device that they are reviewing for you.
I can't talk. The one and only review I did of the protank was horrible. It went all different directions and was incoherent...

If a person can't express a coherent opinion in under 2 minutes, why would they think I'd pay attention to anything they had to say?
