Stumbling onto a PBusardo review is what opened my eyes to the wider world of vaping, I also like Todd's reviews, if for nothing else his facial expressions are awesome. His and Scott Bonner's reviews are great with lots of tech detail. There are some straight ... hats, and there some folks doing vapers proud.
So, is this definatly not Vapor Joe ?
I assumed it was him since a lot of the stuff he says it great on his site, when ordered, turns out to be things to clutter up my desk drawers with. Everything on his site is " these are great, just ordered 30 for myself, what a deal"

I don't watch reviews much; because, in the end, it's just one person's opinion, which may or may not be biased. I'll occasionally look for instructional videos, when I'm about to work with a new item. For example, earlier in the week, I'd ordered a couple Kayfun Lites. So, while waiting for them to come in, I searched out videos about how to set them up. But generally, I've learned more from just reading through forum threads about a particular item, than by watching reviews.
I'm not big on creating vaping "celebrities". Because, in the end, we're all just nicotine addicts, looking for a better way.

No, it was definitely not THE Vapor Joe.
There are a few reviewers I'll check on to see if they've done anything on an item I may be interested in. If they outright hate it, I'll file it away on the "probably not" list. If they love it, I'll put it on the "needs more research" list and go from there.

Well, that cat's out of the bag now. To own up, I sent the link to a few of the people in this thread who asked for it, including Statistic. As a general rule, I don't like to throw people under the bus in a public way - even if they deserve it - but I needed to know if this was the 'real' Vapor Joe.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't know and had to ask.
I realize that not all reviewers are like this guy. I myself subscribe to PBusardo, GrimmGreen, and AmandaEmxoxo (who could pretty much tell me the world was flat and I'd believe her because I'm a perv and old enough to be her dad
). There are good review(er)s and bad review(er)s, nature of the beast. I'm just ecstatic to hear that this guy isn't the real Vapor Joe ...but it certainly reminded me to "trust, but verify" the stuff people say on the internet.
I quit doing reviews about the time I was getting enough subscribers to get free stuff. Witch I thought was one of my goals as a reviewer. My problem was I did not feel good about getting something free and it was crap and slamming it. If I pay for it I do not feel bad about pointing out its short comings.
Also I have not seen much come out lately that really isn't the same thing in a different package. It was fun for awhile. I might dust off the youtube channel and lean more twards helping noobs in the rba area do things safely seems like a better thing to do rather go over the same old dribble about the latest mod released.

Todd, Phil B., Scott (not necessarily in that order, but pretty much), and for a 4th opinion (or how NOT to wrap a coil, though he's gotten better since he started), sometimes Grimm. Only reason to watch a vid review is to see a new product, how its made, how to set it up, and then decide for yourself if it's what you're looking for.
There's too much crap on youtube and too many jokers just want their 15 min. I once saw a review of some chick telling how to vape your ego batt. In the a.m, start on the right side of your mouth, at lunch, switch to the middle, and then by dinner move the pv to the left side. She got her's from me and I'll never get those 15 minutes back! Haunts me still to this day!
EDIT: oh, yeah. And BUZZ! loved how you tossed that Zmax across the room! That was funny stuff!

oh.. another irritating - to me - reviewer who seems to review LOTS of stuff is the British guy... always blows vapor rings and gazes at them... had bad teeth - now has better teeth... name something like "icangetcha69". I dunno. maybe it's just me.

That's Scott Bonner.
He does a lot of good stuff though imo that helped me a lot. If it wasn't for his oddy video I don't think I'd ever wick my terminator right.
