gotta chime in on this.... poldiac zau.jpg....there is something incredibly well built about this device..
i also use a zen sidewinder camo which i carry with me 24-7....pics on my profile page and everywhere...i upgraded contacts to brass,
yes it is a watt lover...lol, on a fresh charge (4.2v) @ 0.7ohms on my poldiac i am suckin on 25.2 watts, same set-up with my did seems to hit harder, so maybe there is a bit of a voltage drop, or maybe the set-up is different, the only gripe i got is the loose top cap which HAS fallen off a MILLION times, although never screwing with my coil, rip out the insulation put in a fatter wick, seems much more comfortable.....the only other dislike i had were the tiny zen wicks..lol...i put 2 or 3 together to make 1...lol...then its fine....
OVERALL: i read somewhere that the mushroom shape of the pos. post gives a better nicotine delivery (flavor, etc...) quoting Mike here...i dont know maybe he believes in his own product or maybe as he says the vapor is designed to twirl up around the pos post

take the same battery, rig up your did to your mod, multimeter between positive post and neg post and measure the drop.

now do the same with the ZAP/ZAU.

i guarantee it's lower on the Zs, the spring inside the positive post eats your voltage....people have been replacing it with a brass rod to fix it, simply because it puts your voltage in the toilet.

im sure u right, i still like the device though....gotta be straight up...the did hits harder using practically the SAME looking .7 ohm coil, same width height wick, i made both @the same time, switching between the 2 i get a MUCH harder hit off the did, but its not that biga deal to me, i like to have 1 zen, lol....then move on to having 1 of a ton of other well made things...just got the poldiac/short did 2 days ago...the voltage drop under load on the poldiac is almost .2 (not that much)
edit: the zen still hits hella hard.....everyones experience is different...i got no problems with it....im vapin on it now, .7ohm on poldiac, its hitting HELLA hard...i repeat...lol....i would recommend this device to anyone...
screw the voltage drop...i run my zen on mechs 24/7 and its my favorite atty cuz of the least amount of maintenance and ease of coiling....
thats just my preference though...
double edit: i have had the same 650 in my poldiac since yesterday noon vaping all day and the zen STILL hits hard, im not tryin to prove a point, just describing my experience...i got 3.9 volts- 3.7 under load....
lol

tried on another thread no one responded....zen products and a poldiac.jpg
2 days ago i recoiled my attys....to .5 ohm using .8ribbbon k, which i normally use, i even went down on the nic level from 24 to 18....my throat has been hurting, i checked for lurking hotspots from chain vaping and they seem to b all gone....still even this morning my throat feels kinda rough from the juices i always vape, at lower nic content, but much more vapor production....
anyone? answers? please? maybe i will have to go back to .5ribbon and .9-1.2 ohm....cuz thats what i was coiling b4 i got the poldiac and did 2 days ago.,...thats when the pain started...suggestions?????comments????please?????

Got rid of the lurking hotspot....now its finally smoother....finally....gettin used to .5 ohm....what a huge difference from .9, !
Anyone ever vape .1 or .2ohm? Whats that like? Anyone have a pic of a coil like that?

That would be really low ohms... I think someone has done it

.1 would be a little dangerous, i've done .2 on a quadrouple coil dripper though, it's a very intense vape, i usually vape .8 ohm single coil on my gennies, i have to wrap 1 ohm or higher on my iHybrid (it really does hit as hard as it says) and i keep my dripper setup as a .4 ohm dual
