I finally found a Z-max PCB online. It's at Hoosier E-Cig if you want to pick one up. They also have Groove boards, which I got one of as well. That's for another thread though. Anyway, I just had to make a Puck out of it, because I just love me some NiMH mods.
I built the board into a 2xAAA battery box. It includes an Ego to 510 adapter as the connector, a USB input to accept modular battery boxes, and a switch rigged with resistors to fool the board into thinking it's being powered by one lithium cell. Without the resistor switch, it'll call you "Lou" all the time, because it thinks it has a really low pair of lithium cells. I just switch the resistors out of the circuit right after I initially connect the battery box, and all is well.
It's an ugly little spud, as the button is just clear silicone sealant, but it works.
