Zamplebox....

I received my first zamplebox today and it was horrible. I just spent $50 on glass bottles is the way I'm looking at it. I'm good friends with a shop owner who makes his own juice and I love his. Do I give up and just stick to what I like or is there some actual good flavors that zamplebox sends? I changed my flavor profile but was wondering if I should just give up and what others experience with zamplebox is or any recommendations for a different subscription.

Sorry you had that experience Chris, but it's one that will probably be repeated regardless of where you buy your e-liquid. I think I am at about a 10% success rate when buying store bought e-liquid with maybe another 20% that I didn't mind but wouldn't order again and the other 70% that I didn't like.

Finding e-liquids that you enjoy consistently is probably the 'hardest' part of the vaping journey, and one of the most expensive. There is nothing worse than ordering $80 worth of e-liquid to discover you only like 10ml of it.

So while I appreciate that Zamplebox can work for some people, I would say why not use that cash to try out different vendors that offer sample packs. Purchase a little of each liquid that piques your interest and try them. If you do the leg-work yourself, you'll save a bundle, and probably end up trying more e-liquids. I'd recommend heading over to the e-liquid subforum for ideas on vendors and flavors to try,

Maybe I am being too quick to say stop the Zamplebox, perhaps don't be too discouraged with your first experience - maybe give them a few months to see what happens. It's up to you. It's convenient for sure...

Of course then there is the DIY rabbit hole which you can start reading about in the DIY subforum.

Maybe try another month to see how it goes :) I don't subscribe to zamplebox but i really wanted to. Just because according to my calculations it will save me a little. But now i got down to making my own ejuice. Testing in small batches and if i dont like it ill bin them. Else i will make more and set them to steep :)

My friend had *a few* good experiences with zamplebox. He ended up canceling his subscription though. It is good for determining which juice companies you like, but you're bound to not like at least 70-80% of the juices you get as InTheShade said. Might I recommend, check out Nicoticket. :)
