This stuff is perfect, it starts glowing from the inside of the coil out like it should, and absolutely no hot spots whatsoever. And you don't have to worry about it touching the bottom of the tank of the top centre post because its non conductive.

I see more and more people us the ready wick, I could never get it to work right so I have gotten really good with ss mesh
It was as simple as cut, insert, put a needle through the middle, wrap and go... Much easier than ss mesh, but I still like the vape from ss mesh almost as much as the ready wick. The ready wick i find is less fussy and easier to deal with and not getting hot spots and shorts etc...
I will give it a try in the future. For now it's tiger wire on 400 mesh at 1 ohm and 25 watts
Does anyone know if i have to boil xc-116(ready wick) before I can wrap my coil on it and cut it to size for my ZAU?

chops try torching the wick first and treat it like a ss mesh wick, same size and not too long, just like a normal ss mesh, i used it just to try it. i hate it and im still think is not healthy just like silica, do this test first the choose to use it or not.
torch it till it glows
let it get cold
then take it with 2 fingers and make sime pressure while moving along the wick
look the little residue in your hands

I use 100% VG (Boba's Bounty) and it wicks fine. Maybe you have it wrapped too tight? If not tilt it down and pulse it until it starts pulling from the tank. Also if it gets gunked up it is easy to clean by dry burning until it turns white again. I use it in several genesis atties and a Squape and the only time I'll get a dry hit is after I've started getting the wick gunked up pretty bad. Also, I've never initially torched it, but I have before doing a new build to clean the old juice out of the wick. I did have problems with a sub ohm build on a Vapinaze AL-1 I just got today, but it was my first attempt and I didn't have a whole lot of time to play with it.
