Got my ZNA back today, 5 days round trip! came with a paper stating " completely rebuilt and updated to current spec". It included the new 510 topcap which is pretty nice, no gap anymore and very adjustable.

Did retain the original serial number so Zen must have a way to burn the serial numbers in house. Brand new hologram stickers as well.

Delrin insulator does stick down a bit furthur than the original one so reverse battery protection will actually work now, but no chance of using flat top batteries.

Great warranty experience!

Edit- Just noticed he changed my buttons, which im not excited about. They used to be the gunmetal zenkote color and now they are just machined stainless.

No my buttons feel the same as before, no click. but the right button is not as hard to push as before.

Just so you know the orbitronics 20amp batteries wouldnt fit in my ZNA and i think the 30amp ones are bigger.

you won't always get another board with it....a lot of the time this problem came up, it's because the board shifted inside the case and just needs to be refitted as it was an assembly issue. one of my close friends had the same problem, and when we were at the ZFO on friday, it was repaired in minutes time... the board was NOT replaced, and the problem was fixed.

I wonder what happens if you send in an under 800 serial ZNA for warranty if the one you receive back is covered under the original warranty since it will likely have a higher serial number.

Wouldn't you get back your original unit with a new board?

Yea the board will be new but I'm guessing that zen doesn't burn the serials into the chip himself.

he doesn't do anything for the serial number, it's the same board that came with it originally. those are programmed at Evolv for Mike....
