I've tried pre-punched boges and one from another vendor, both worked quite well. The one thing I did notice on my setup is when I use "cheap" juice. I get such better flavor out of stuff from g2 and a few other than what I did from some of the cheap places, but that's the case on my other zens too.

I got some decent juice. first juice I put in it was deshocker, and it was weak till I kicked it. I think part of it is switch, sometimes it hits good, but it comes and goes. the other being the carto. these are the first boge carto's ive bought in 8 months or so.. the smokteks hit great but wound hold juice. I got kinda dumbfounded by it tonight and had to put it down, working a 801 on a bam now, yum

would like to try a killer but don't have the cash, there is a clone out. but im not a fan of running non resistant leads. plus I kind want to get this carto setup worked out. its become kind of a challenge and I believe if I can get it sorted and with a good carto it could be better then a 801.

no issues with the carto pre-installed. its just like was there wasn't enough voltage to push the carto. it feels like there is enough voltage now, but it comes and goes. I think the switch now is mostly squared away. have to get a decent carto in there to find out.

I had the same issue at first, but that was based solely on the fact that it is unregulated. By using a low resistance cargo (typically around 2.1 for boges) the voltage going through was only 3.7 and the wattage would be around 6. Now that I'm using the kick I'm able to get the carto to perform at about 4 volts (8 watts) which is where it should be for me. The other nice thing, and I'm sure you know this as well, the kick regulates the battery so where before I might have gotten a bunch of good hits at first, as the battery was being used, the output was dropping so I wasn't getting the power I need for the type of vape I wanted.
I hope you get your issue solved my friend, and let me know which cartos you are waiting on as I'm thinking about buying a batch of cartos from a vendor I won't mention here.
thanks. everyone in here as always is a great help. I emailed the place I get my cartos from, probably talking about the same place, to see if they have anything I can run in the z2 so I don't have to kick it. but if I have to kick, no biggie.

not the kick but the carto, its only set a little past half way. have magnets in the switch now and its not getting hot. can only speculate why carto gets hot with the spring installed.
