All I can think of, reading these past few posts, is the (brilliant) line from the pilot of "Eureka":

"Easy, there Henry... remember Groom Lake?"
"Yeah, but... this time, we're sober!!"

:p :p :p

.39 ohm atty. Correct me if I'm wrong... but is that not what is referred to as "sub ohms"?

So no. I'm not interested in a video complaining about how the Z2, with the current limiting spring, doing what the PV was designed to do, is going to have voltage drop on a sub ohm atty so you don't blow your face off.

yawn.

I get so sick of the ohms chasers, buying something advertised to limit the craziness of that crap, and then whining and "hatin" when it does just that.

I didn't know how to put.......you PUT IT, and I agree.

Note: If you want a sub ohm coil, and I currently use one also, pick another devise. I enjoy my zenz and a few other APV's in their right design.

I bought a "Used ZAP" and the Top Cap is really loose ! I put a new top cap o-ring (3/4 OD 1/2 ID X 1/16) in it and it's still really loose. I checked the "Zen FAQ" thread and did find a list of the O-ring sizes but only the standard sizes. Anyone know what size I should be looking for to "Tighten Up The Cap Fit" I assume it would be the same "OD & ID" but the 1/16 size would need to be increased. But, To What ? Also would be nice if someone could tell me "Where To Look" (Link) for them !

Thanks In Advance

I B Brett

Brett Id imagine you have a older one ... some are complaining the new cap is too tight If you like the ZaP, Ens has them (not positive on stock) and the Rebuild kit which has orings and the Screws for if they run away ;)

Heres the Linkys and lotsa other good stuffs

I do not get the whole sub-ohm thing. What's the point of all that vapor?

Some people just like to look like human fog machines... :D

In all seriousness though, everyone has their own "sweet spot" so to speak. More vapor, stronger throat hit, more nicotine absorption, whatever... If sub-Ω keeps 'em away from the cancer sticks, they think it looks cool, or they like waiving their hands like a maniac trying to clear the air of man-made clouds... I don't really care; I say all the more power to them. It isn't my thing, but I can see why others might enjoy it. Good thing there are (literally) hundreds of devices available so that each and every one of us can find what works or what we enjoy the best.

As for the whole sub-Ω and Zenesis thing... ENS' product descriptions do not state that these devices weren't designed with sub-Ω vaping in mind or rather were designed specifically to prevent sub-Ω vaping. Everyone doesn't know Zen's (or is that Zen's insurance company's?) stance on sub-Ω coils.

I agree, but I just worry that people aren't being smart about it. If someone blows their face off doing sub-ohms, that looks bad on all of us and the less attention we attract to ourselves the better.

I can understand the (seemingly widespread) fear of what might happen should someone suffer serious bodily harm or death caused by an e-cig/APV/mod. At this point it's all hypothetical. We won't know what will happen until it does. Battery failure could happen in any device that uses a battery to power it. There are plenty of examples of laptop, cell phone, and flashlight batteries failing (sometimes catastrophically), yet they haven't been banned. Maybe there will be sweeping legislation banning battery powered vapor producing devices, maybe not...

The point is, vaping has risks, regardless of whether or not you or others are using sub-Ω coils.

well what a day in here, its seems I may have unknowingly started a little war in here. it was not my intentions. I was just trying to find what voltage I was vaping at, for some of use have gotten zens that were not working out of the box the way they should. the boge that came with the device was 2.3 ohms. figure in voltage drop and its not quite enough to use that type carto.. ens was great and sent another spring and everyone in here has just been wonderfull.. the trouble with flangless carto's is most come in the 2.0 or higher range, only one place I can think of sells a 1.7, but they leak pretty bad. I was just trying to help solve the issue some of us where having.

bryphi. I think the o'rings are used on the switch or carto top as a type of extender for the kick.. what kind of carto's are you using. I cant use the boge without the kick..vapes on the soft side

Good morning!!!

Happy Birthday Tiff!!! :) Kick back, and relax... I am going to do that too, even though it's not my birthday. It's just Saturday. :vapor::toast::vapor:

Inbox cleared, Bumpi - apparently ECF lies when it says one can have up to 300 messages stored total... seems more like 80 is the limit. :glare:

Cats woke me up too early. I'm going back to bed.

DH, if you have a bunch of stuff in your sent box, they all count towards the 300 total.

K-man, does the nitecore require spacers to charge the 18350's?

I'm not K-man but no spacers needed to charge 18350's with the Nitecore 4 bay charger.
