Back from the epic Denver run to Grandma's funeral and back again. Was made especially fun in that both my wife and I were sick as dogs all the way through - even gambling in Nevada was 75% less fun. And highway 80 law enforcement in Wyoming is downright scary.
Re: Superbowl - Not being a football fan at all, I totally forgot yesterday was the finals; and trying to find an un-reserved hotel room in NV near the Utah border was useless. Every casino/hotel was a friggin madhouse, with people partying the night before "Game Day". We drove deep inland, through freezing fog (we had a cool ridge one inch long by 1/4" thick of ice on the radio antenna when we finally stopped) only to find a room at some really cheap, run-down Motel 8 out in the middle of nowhere.
Ironically, despite the peeling paint and funky 1980-era TV, this cheap hotel had the BEST BED of the entire trip.
Congrats to those who scored a ZNA... I'll probably have to cave in and get one in a couple months. BTW, is Ceeb's show recorded and available anywhere???

Driving to (and from) the Bay Area to Denver over "The Mighty Lincoln Highway", especially through Nevada/Utah, gave me a much greater appreciation for this tune from my childhood:

ohh yeah im pretty sure there will be a bunch of them later, but why not to think in customer satisfaction and run a pre sale? its so easy for everyone to place the preorder and just wait for the vapemail.
