Sorry to see Mike had so much trouble over on VW. I'll never understand the double standard that has been set for him and him ONLY. He's basically a one-man show, is one of very few USA makers who makes one of the best APV's made and gets treated like dirt on a constant basis. I've decided to chalk it up to JEALOUSY. Other modders and their fans don't like the fact he has taken some of their business away. Period.

Also, for the people over there to treat him the way they did after all the APV's he DONATED to help VW get off the ground, is just sickening. I just read the thread Ripple posted a link to and understand wholly why Mike would leave that joint. It really was a free-for-all aimed at him. THEIR LOSS! They'll have to find their fundraiser APV's elsewhere.

Even viewing the pics full size, why would any self-respecting item of that nature have random hooks just poking out the side like that?

Im trying to chain vape but sometimes it on the first hit... wick is pretty loose and not touching bottom

One other thing. If you are trying to chain vape, I'd highly recommend getting some 500 SS mesh. The problem that I've found with the 400 is that it doesn't wick fast enough for chain vaping.

Referring back to my posts about VaperCon..... other vendors ...... off and vocal about it to customers.
Not to each other, customers.
And thinking that won't cost them business.
Another thing I found "interesting", in all of the vids and pics I've found online about VC, about 2 of them even mentioned anything Zen related.... and he had the largest crowd.

The largest crowd for someone who's so supposedly so "bad" at it.
Go figure.

it's sad to see how some people behave. unfortunate, because it has to eat away at you, in spite of how much you try to pretend not to care. those of us who know the man are biased in his favor. i guess it's part of the reason why we attacked those folks like a pack of dogs in the "old days". it's sad to see him step away from VW but it's very understandable...

We may be biased, but biased for a good reason. We know for a fact Mike is a good man. We know for a fact he would never rip someone off. We know for a fact that he tries his best at everything he does and we know for a fact...he doesn't deserve the double standard the community has set for him.

I know people who have waited much longer for other makers to deliver their APVs. Those makers don't get a fraction of the cr@p thrown at them that Mike does....if they get any at all.

That's right. The Zenesis VC table was NEVER without a crowd around it the entire weekend. I remember you mentioning that vendor who was badmouthing HOH. If there was one vendor ...... off, you know more of them felt the same way.

This "community", as a whole, has change so much just in the time I have been vaping and here at ECF. It use to be vapers helping vapers and now it's become nothing but a cutthroat business with a LOT of dirty stuff going on behind closed doors.

So, at the risk of getting slapped on the wrist, I have tried the eFest IMR's which have a higher MAH rating, and compared them against the AW's in some of my other devices.

I don't have the time or interest in doing any truly scientific testing, but I will say this, I'll never buy them again. They don't maintain performance anywhere near how the AW's do... They sit in a drawer now. I have AW's almost a year old that perform better.

I have absolutely no complaints with the AW IMR's from a battery life perspective considering the battery sizes, and they are known to be the safest available. Stick with the tried & true..

I've never used anything other than AW IMR's, but can't imagine anything better considering the performance of mine that have been in action since April.

not mentioning any names, but a few of the vendors (obviously not ENS), after noticing my device, would bad-talk mike and his devices or treat me like crap because i had one..... wth kind of business sense is that?

also for those from VW who need a check up from the neck up, anyone who thinks that mike would purposefully rip people off after he's invested so much time, money, blood sweat and tears into this doesnt have their head screwed on strait.

Me neither, and when I was placing a DIY order, the place didn't have AW IMR in 18350 (though they carry other sizes), and had a killer deal on a 2-pack of the eFest IMR so I gave them a try. 2 lessons confirmed (won't say learned since we all know from many other examples).

1 - You get what you pay for

Hey,

I keep getting a dry (burnt) hit... using the stock wick that came with the ASH II, should I try rolling a fatty wick and remove the insulator ring and see if that help or what?

3/4 32g wrap btw

I'm sure this has been addressed but...give it a few days and it WILL start to wick better. Till then, vape at 2 or 3 o'clock.
