I don't recall anyone flaming Zen~ over the BAM. If there was, it was less than 5% of those who ordered. I agree a lot of customer frustration would have been alleviated by weekly communication BEFORE new deadlines were broken. This doesn't equal socializing, this would be informative updating. I realize Zen~ has innovated a whole community of people who love his products and also have become friends. I think sometimes a situation like that leads people to defend ANY criticism of ANY KIND. But anybody in business knows that you learn from mistakes and you learn from criticism. You should welcome suggestion and criticism. In fact, welcoming and listening to such things is in itself a way to strengthen the relationship between consumer and producer. Zen~ himself defended those that complained to 3rd parties about the BAM issue. I think it's better to look at something and see what could have been done better.

Perhaps........but a weekly or biweekly update in the Zen Alert thread would only have taken a minute and would have gone a long way in assuaging people's frustration. If one minute makes that much difference, then there are more serious problems.

i agree w/ you, and I have said before a HoH blog of progress would be awesome, especially if it was managed by someone else so that mike wouldnt have to... i just think that at that point, no matter what he did/does, hes gonna make people angry.... im really not sure why but it continues to happen.... look at other stuff like the SD, they are just waiting patiently, and the scubagen.... not to mention the previous scubagens but the current one, it took 6 months for people to start getting mad about it. (im not flaming those devices, just using em as examples)

Not a drop! I only changed the bottom one where the leak was. Should I change them all? Is there a reason to do that?

The Oversold Zen's have made it here, I am going to finish my lunch and pack them all up and hand deliver them to the post office

If you guys are having trouble removing the orings just cut them off.

Also I replaced the middle 2 with #15. I left the very top one alone. Dry as a bone for weeks now like everyone has said.
