Hello
I'm new to vaping and discovered I have a PG allergy. I an trying to vape 100% VG but most coils burn too fast. I was told the Zeus RTA 25 ot 26mm by geek vape would be the best option to vape 100%VG.

I have no idea how RTA"s work. How to make your own coils and the rest. Can someone tell me where I can learn that

I don't have a Zeus but I do have a few other rtas, to build you make your own coils or buy premade and you need cotton, you also need to understand ohms law as a big fat 26g coil will not work with your 50 watts mod, well it might but with 50 watts you don't have a lot of room to play with, most tend to stay with 3mm inner diameter coils and I'd say if you have to vape 100vg then plain coils using 26 or 28g ss316 as they won't gunk up as much as say claptons or aliens, check the threads out for building and especially rtas

    Welcome to ECF:thumbs:
Go to the Rebuildable Atomizer Systems section and put up a post in the RTA part.
Also have a really good look around in other sections in there, Lots of great info:D

As far as your PG allergy goes I do know that you can add distilled water to your juice, 10% is a good amount.
There is also a PG substitute which I'm not familiar with, @stols001 will be able to help you with that, she doesn't get along well with PG either:)
    Good Luck with everything!

The PG alternative that is spoken of is PEG, otherwise known as polyethylene glycol. I have tried it, but find, for me, distilled water to be a better solution, as I am more sensitive to the flavor than anything. You can get USP grade PEG from Amazon to see if it's a workable solution for you.

NO!!! It is PEG400 and from what I was told there is a HUGE difference between all the PEG variants.

I have not tried PEG, I think it might be mirilax but I'm not entirely SURE.

PLEASE provide the correct information. Maybe PEG is fine too .... I have never used it if it's Mirilax except to unplug my .... when needed. I am not certain vaping mirixax would be wise. DON'T. At least not like without some research.

I can only speak to PEG 400 which is NOT mirilax nor did it give me the runs.

    Dood,.

I use 100% VG -- I am sensitive to PG but can take it in small doses and most of the flavorings I use do have some PG. I use a Zeus X and make my own coils. My coils do get gunked up because of the VG and the juice I use but I change them out as needed.

I would recommend you watch a few YouTube videos to get the hang of it. I do not roll my own coils. I buy pre-coiled coils -- they are not very expensive at all. I install the coil (or coils if it is a dual RTA) and feed cotton through it. It took me a while before I made the jump to RTA's and I am glad I did. Not only does it save you money ---- you also never have to worry about not having fresh coils.

Although it is not difficult - each tank is different and there are some things you need to know about safety making sure you do not short anything out and making sure you are using the correct battery for your setup which the folks on here can help with. Here is a short easy video to watch just to give you an idea

You never get dry burns ? I will try the Zeus X then. Do I have to buy a new batterie too ? Or can i use this tank with my baby mag by smok ( 50W)

I do not think you need to buy something else. As some of the others said -- I'd try practicing more with the wicking and such first. And I would not recommend the Zeus X. It's OK but not my favorite tank. I was just answering because I have a similar tank.

It does take a bit of time (not too much) to get it right and then once you get it --should be good. In the beginning when I first started building I did not get dry hits too much but I did have leaking because I was not wicking correctly. I do not get dry hits in general. I make sure to wick properly and wet the cotton with juice after I am done wicking. And then I wait 5 minutes and then....I close the air holes and do not hit the fire button and pretend to take a vape or two and I think that step help to make sure the cotton is properly saturated. Then I vape.

I'd like to reccomend the wotofo profile unity mesh but I've only had it a day and don't know how the mesh strips would gunk up using 100vg,I do know that you can use an ordinary single coil in it but I've not tried it, the flavour is ok, it's not my favourite tank but I'm getting used to it, I'm hitting 47 watts on a reg mod with the .18 ohm mesh and the strips are not expensive unless you go for the orf strips, check it out, it might just suit you, its easier than wicking a normal coil but does take some getting used to, good luck on your vaping, I'm sure you will sort something out

100% VG here too, same problem. I have several of the 2 post Magma RDA's which are set up for single coil usage. All are deep well and can last me an hour before re dripping. If you sub ohm, I suspect you are going to have to re drip much more frequently. I also use rayon (Cellucotton) wicks.
