Hello, new to the forums and of coarse, I am lost trying to find the right info to get started on vaping

I have been "researching" trying to find the best ecig for me based on others opinions, knowledge, reviews and experiences.

So far, the "510's" with a manual batt appear to be the best choice, however, I think this is more of a Type, not a brand.

One thing I have found is how no "supplier" seems to have "all the bases" covered.

For example, i was set on getting the Magma Volcano, but then found they have Stock/supply issues and they do not offer Blue Led batts which I really want.
I also learned they have an issue with leaking, so thi8s shyed me away from them

Then I was set on getting the Gemini 2, but they are not available yet, only have White Led Batts ( like sucking a flashlight??? ) and no reviews to see what they are like.

I came across a site brand ZigCigs. On the site iteslef are many very positive reviews , yet I have yet to find any reviews on the internet , youtube or anywhere else

the kits are expensive, but appear to cover all the bases.
honestly, they look like Joy ecigs, making me wonder if they are, and just got rebranded.

Any one familiar with this ZigCig brand?

PS: I did not list any specifics about this brands because I do not want anyone to think I am promoting anything

Hi Earl, welcome to ECF. It's confusing at first, isn't it? Took me about a month to feel like I had a handle on it. You're looking for a basic 510, not an eGo or Riva, right? The basic 510 batteries only last an hour or two. They were my second model, I switched to eGos shortly after getting those because I got tired of having to change the battery all the time.

I would go look at Cignot, look at their boxless kits. I'll go get a link.

If you shop from the supplier's forum here on ECF, you can be assured you'll get good product and good service since the forum owners keep a tight eye on those who sell here. The list can be found here:
Forum Suppliers - E-Cigarette Forum

Ecigarettes are MODEL number based. Don't go for cool names and fancy custom printed ecigs. Read the guide and decide what is most important. You'll probably be like most, buying one model and trying a few others later. We all do it.

Each model atomizer is a little different (due to the resistance and watts that it runs at). Stock batteries are limited in run time (one to four hours) and the eGo/Tornado type overcomes that (which is what I'd recommend you get, it is a 510 model based unit with a with a longer run time. The mAh rating of the battery of a battery is important to understand.

Any cartridge can leak if not filled properly. I know I overfilled mine at first. It takes some practice to figure out how to fill them properly. You can also look at cartomizers (a cartridge and atomizer in one) and you can also try dripping. First though, get a standard unit and figure it out. See what works for you and what doesn't. Then you can start looking at some of the other ways to vape. What a journey you have ahead, have fun with it!
