Got a new zmax v2 a week ago and must say that I had nothing but issues with it. I am hopeful that the experts here can help me:

  1. The taste of any juice in any my cartos/clearos is bland, unsophisticated, and flat. if I screw my ProTank II on an old vision spinner, I get full flavor with a subtle pre- and after-taste. The flavor of the same tank on a zmax just two seconds later just stinks. I played around with the settings but nada.
  2. On the ProTank and the Vision tank, I get a metallic kind of flavor and the zmax is jumping up and down in resistance. The first 3 seconds is the "real" resistance of the tank, then it jumps up/down, then it shows 0.0 Ohms. Both tanks work perfectly on any other battery I have - even a super old no-name 800mAh I had lying around for more than a year.
  3. Regardless of the power/voltage setting, any tank I tried (BCC Mega, Kanger mt3, ProTankII, Vision Tank, Stardust v3) is going empty much, much quicker than on any of my other batteries - however, produced pretty much the same amount of vapor. Is that normal?
  4. Occasionally but with increasing probability instead of just vaping after I press the button, my zmax is running through the settings: I vape and I see the display running through all options, occasionally even chaning a setting! What am I doing wrong (And no I do NOT let go of the button)?

I'd appreciate any help

Sounds like you have a bad unit. That thing jumping around like that says, I'm broken FIX ME!!!

Yeah, this has my vote too. Something is wrong with the board or there's a bad connection somewhere along the line.

edit: didn't read #3 or #4 before posting. I would be hesitant to even use that. Sounds like a bad short killing batteries and such. Send it back ASAP!
