2 weeks of not smoking!!

Ok, it's official. It's been 2 weeks since I've had a stinkie. Do I miss it?? NOPE. Given an analog would I smoke it? Heck NO!!

After two weeks of not smoking analogs and vaping exclusively I couldn't be further away from wanting an analog ever again!

I can smell things better. I can taste my wife's great cooking better. I also FEEL better and I'm very proud of my accomplishment.

I had a very wierd experience regaurding smell. Here I am cruising my motorcycle on a slightly windy night. About 5 car lengths ahead of me a "cager" flicks his .... out the window and I watch it bounce across the pavement. As I drove by this dude's discarded death device I caught a wiff of it! Now to some that would come as no surprise. To me it was flippin unbeleivable! I actually smelt a cig doing 80, in the wind!

Normally ( pre vaping) I would have never been able to smell that stinkie burning itself out on the pavement. I find it amazing how fast my sense of taste and smell are returning to me.

I am so pleased when I come home and not only does my house NOT smell like smoke. It smells like the juice (usually capaccino or straberry shortcake) that my wife had been vaping. I tell you I've never been happier to come home and walk in the door than when it smells great! Also I'm not embarrased to invite people over anymore because I don't have to see the reactions of my non-smoker friends and family to the smell of my house. In fact most of them are pleased with my new found scent!

I had a dream the other night that I smoked an analog. I felt SO dissapointed in myself. I even felt sort of sad after I woke up. It's funny to me that after enjoying something 30+ times a day for 12 years that I can all of a sudden feel like I've let myself down by doing exactly that (and in a dream no less). It's odd that I now classify something like smoking an analog as a nightmare now when just 2 short weeks ago smoking was a part of my every day life!

I just want to take a moment and thank everyone here on ECF for all thier support and information thats always so readily available. Also all the people on youtube for all the great reviews and information you can easily find about vaping. I owe a great BIG thanks to my wife for pushing me to try vaping and even ordering me my first devce (and putting up with me and my ordering a Provari so early on). Thanks to all my friends that vaped before me or started vaping after. It truly means a lot to me to have people to help me and to talk about vaping and to just hang out and socially vape and share flavors and experiences and success stories. The whole experience has been one big positive change in my life and I will never look back and regret one moment of it!

Spread the word about vaping to your family and friends that regularly smoke analogs. Vape in public and be willing to answer questions about what you are doing from complete strangers. Read up and find sites to suggest to people that are interested in vaping. Most importantly keep on keeping on and...
Happy Vaping!! :vapor:
