I love ECF. I really do. It's fantastic for getting a lot of information from a lot of well-informed individuals.
Socially though, I find it lacking. At times the political message is overwhelming and the large size leads to a lot of bickering. This is not a criticism of ECF necessarily, it's just something that goes hand-in-hand with being a large forum. The social portion seems to be limited to a small in-group and any kind of joking in non-social threads is not always welcomed with open arms. Again, I appreciate this as it helps me get information rather than banter.
But socially I want cavalier banter. I want to talk about one of my favorite hobbies with similar enthusiasts without fearing criticism. I want to be allowed to talk in zombie talk for an entire day sometimes. Which is why I also love VapeZone.
I see VapeZone as existing side-by-side with ECF, not as competition. It fulfills a totally different function and welcomes everyone and everything.
Come check it out. In addition to being a relaxed and fun place you can also win free stuff just for participating in the forum. You'll come for the free stuff, but stay for the community.

I recommend checking out the contest section first, as there is a large thread there that functions as a chat area and is a great way to introduce yourself to everyone. If you join and put me (strell) down as a referrer I get some points, but I won't hold it against you if you don't.
