I too have a Kanger Sub-tank mini. I know everyone is saying to use 26 gauge wire and I was wondering if you think it would be an issue if I use 29 gauge? I already have the 29 g and I am would rather not have to get the 26 g, unless it would make a big difference. Thanks.

I think Kanger used 26 gauge wire when building the .5 ohm coil that is pre-installed on the rba unit. I think they also used the same size on the .5 ohm stock coil they installed in the tank. And I'm pretty sure (if the math is correct) that they used 29 gauge on the 1.2 ohm stock coil that comes in the box. Wolfenstark was right. It will work. The number of wraps will depend on what resistance you are looking to hit. I only recommend the 29 gauge if you're looking to hit 1.0 ohm or higher.
