and if so...do you remember who made them?

Since you're wondering why...I would like more of these. I have plenty of tanks and new school gear, but I find that these are fantastic and non-leak when vaping on a plane. So....if you remember them, and better yet, where to get them, please let me know.

Thanks!

Nevertheless, to prevent passenger or crewmember confusion, the Department has proposed to amend its existing airline smoking rule to explicitly ban use of electronic cigarettes aboard aircraft."

I'm adding this to my long list of reasons to avoid the airline industry ... :grr:

Crewmember confusion ? :?:

Are there really airline employees entrusted with the lives of a plane full of passengers, who are too stupid to discern the difference between a tobacco cigarette and a vaporizer ?

I use gum tobacco, i believe that's the right word. That tobacco that you put between your bottom lip and gums. Im not flying that often, but when i do i make sure i have it with me during the flight. Crazy thing tho, i still have a craving for my vape even tho im getting nicotine from it and i can feel it when it hits me...

There hasn't been any vaping allowed on planes since way before October, like way way before October.

Yes, they are.

Which is why they stopped letting people put ecigs and batts in their checked luggage.....nothing like a fire or explosion in the cargo hold to put people's lives at risk, eh?

Once you are up in the air, there's very little someone can do if something blows up or catches on fire. It's a scary situation.

While it may not be important to follow rules in Walmart about vaping, I fully support the FAA and DOT regs for anything that applies to being in the air.

BTW, what makes you think passengers on an enclosed plane want to smell ecig flavorings/vapor for an entire flight, esp. transoceanic?

Bring patch, gum, lozenges, snus....are you saying we should boycott airlines because vapers can't go a few hours without vaping?

i'd say go ahead, so-long as you're a stealthy human being, and not someone whose going to ruin it for everybody.

DOT and FAA are feds. this isn't like gettting caught smoking in your Motel 6 room.

Aircraft today is getting fitted with both particle and photo-electric and optical beam devices in the bathrooms.....

Personally, I have no desire to be escorted off a plane by federal agents like this person did:

No Cookies | Herald Sun

or questioned by the feds:
Flight departing Portland International Airport turns around after passenger lights electronic cigarette, becomes disruptive

and/or detained WHERE you are asked to disembark. (possibly in handcuffs) That means some other country. Also keep in mind that they can come after you for any costs related flight diversions, delayed arrivals or takeoffs, etc.

No thanks. (not to mention it would seem rather selfish to put a flight at this kind of risk, ruining OTHER PEOPLE's journey?)
