Double Coil Tanks?

I'm still relatively new (1.5 yrs), and can't keep up with the new technology. Went to get a new coil/wick for my ViVi Nova and saw double coil ones. Are they worth the money? Do they make juice taste better? Have a Vamo driving this.

Btw, anybody have this issue: with light-colored juices turn brown really fast. Lose flavor. Any ideas?

I don't know anything about double coils (although I would like to know if they're worth the money), but I did want to add that I also have a Vivi Nova (1.8ohm wick) and my juice quickly turns brown as well. The flavor isn't affected all that much, though. How old is your wick? If it's new, have you tried replacing it with a higher resistance coil?
