Alright, I give..

The points I raised, you deflected and then ended with more figures that you pulled from nowhere to support your argument. I can see this is going nowhere fast, and no offense, but I have better things to do with my time than reason with people that have little interest in reason.

Kniveout......I hear your pain.....I have learned over many, many years that some people simply cannot be saved.....vape ON!!!

I've never seen any numbers, but I have some massive doubts that there are anywhere close to a million lavatubes floating around.

There are 7 billion people in the world and a good amount of them are smokers or were..this device is sold worldwide so a million might not be out of the question..I have no idea it was just a guess that's why I posted there could be 1 million or more. If I saw the numbers and could link them I would state it as fact. But there are a lot more people who own a LT than a Provari and just a little searching around you will find people that have issues with both devices example like in quotes below.

"Thats why i was asking if the batt was loose . The circuit board can push up a little bit. You would also know if the display is slightly moved up and button may be more stiff than normal."

I don't expect a $160 device that costs 4x as much as a LT to have a circuit board that can move for that price it should be mounted solidly..maybe that's why I read to not drop a Provari without a battery in it or you probably will break it on YouTube...

You have better things to do yet you have time to insult my opinion and tell me what is my opinion when I already know that..you "give" yet you have to insult me one more time..I wonder who has little interest in reason...

I'm sorry you feel insulted. All I have to say is that if you need to fabricate number/figures to support your argument then perhaps more research is in order, or just admit you don't know. Also, quoting another post about the provari's issues in multiple threads makes you look like a fanboy. Fanboys also are generally not interested in valid information that doesn't support their particular point of view, and that is fitting based on what I've seen of your posts. Have a great day.

I thought you didn't have anymore time to reply to this?..what do you know? Yeah I've heard that fanboy insult more than once the last decade (it's kind of old) I've been online it's usually from someone who can't prove a point so they resort to insults. I'm interested in valid info but your info is no more valid than mine is...

I own both, LT on Nov28, 2011 and Provari V1 Dec 10, 2010, Provari V2 Feb 21, 2012

I doubt LT is being sold in the millions even with world wide sells in such a short time due to vaping is still a niche market and mostly because there are so many cheaper or more expensive variable pvs on the market.

LT imho still hasn't reached it's full claim's with obvious voltage drop outs, I think the kick module is better than the LT, from my experience in regards for an alternative consistent vaping style.

if vapers don't care how they vape and what voltage setting and just want to get off from analog's an LT isn't that bad, just that you won't find many provari owner's praising an LT due to inconsistencies with how folks want to vape at.

Provari has been copied alot ... styles, function, and features.

The great thing about LT, it made it more competitive to variable pv's in being reasonable in price structures.

You could be right but there has to be quite a lot out there for them to sell them so inexpensively.

I personally don't see these drop outs with my LT.

I don't think the Provari is the original tube mod..maybe 1st to market but I'm fairly certain there were modders building flashlight mods with a display before the Provari was even thought of...

yeps provari wasnt the first, but it was the first with its own features in a commercial pv. It really open the doors commercial grade. (screw driver vs push a button to change your voltage setting, at least that's how I remembered it and in a tube form)

to the OP:

I haven't bothered with a dual coil carto, but for a dual coil atty at 2.5 ohm its alright and it will kick you down in voltages based on variances/resistance.

I was curious, so I had to check:

The Lavatube sub-forum of the VV mods forum has 249 threads with 4836 posts.

The Provari sub-forum has 309 threads with 4692 posts.

Not a huge difference for the sub-forums dedicated to both mods -- and a lot of the Provari posts end up on the Provape sub-forum, but I'm sure the same thing happens with the various LT clones and their vendor's sub-forums. And, the Provari has been out quite a bit longer.

Not scientific data; like I said, I was just curious. :)

But if you look the Provari forum has been around longer at least the 1st post was like 5 months earlier..also the Provari has been around longer and threads get moved there..anyways there are multiple sellers selling LT's and only one selling the Provari. I've seen the LT sell out on a few sites more than once too. Anyways if they were selling as many Provari's as LT's and making them on a big scale the price should go down and according to owners it has been selling at $159 awhile.

Just got a Lava Tube recently and I haven't had any problems with dual coils vaping well. Admittedly I don't really care for dual coils as they don't seem to agree with my throat for whatever reason. 1.5ohm and 3ohm dual coils both vape well for me on it. For 45 bucks, I don't think I could be much happier with a VV device.

What day is it
Why is it even under question that the LT, in all its permutations, has sold far more units than Provari? The number of posts here are largely irrelevant in any case. There are at least a dozen or two vendors in the States that sell the LT and I know for a fact that one seller, who sells out frequently, orders them in quantities of 1000 at a time. Just about every other country that allows vaping has more than one or two vendors that sell the LT. There are discussion and/or forums about the LT on the vaping boards in Germany, France, Spain and most other developed nations. It's like asking if there were more Escorts sold than Lamborghinis. It's not even a question. I don't understand what it has to do with much in any case, except that you'd naturally expect to hear more complaints about one unit that outsells another by a factor of multiples, if not tens or hundreds. Simple math would dictate it, even if they were of identical quality (and no, I'm not claiming they are)
