Nice job on the brushed look Nikki. Did you put the mod on a drill and just let it sand away? Ketchup hey???? Wow never thought of that.

And yes, Ketchup ... I found this tip on the internet when I was searching "how to polish brass", and Ketchup and lemon juice were two that came up. It worked great Nikki,sadly not yet

Nice hand job Nikki [emoji48][emoji87]BRASS 4NINE ... THE TRANSFORMATION
It came in the same packaging as everything, but this little white box actually showed up in really good shape ... they usually look like the warehouse guy chewed on it before he sticks it in the package.
I wasn't expecting it to have a polished finish, but it did ... I also noticed some tarnishing on a few spots of the body, so some polishing was gonna have to be done.
Break out the Heinz Ketchup! That's right people, I used Ketchup to polish my brass mod, and it works really well too.
Then it came time to brush this baby ... I used 1000 grit to give it a very nice, soft brushed finished, and I am so happy with how it came out, and also how it changed the tonal quality of the brass. Take notice to how the outer part of the switch and top cap are still polished, as well as the inner part of the deep grooves on the main body tube. I like these little contrasting details
The logo on the brass is laser etched as opposed to engraved like my male 4nine, but I still like it plenty ...
I decided to heat treat my SS Kraken to a golden straw, as opposed to getting a brass Kraken to match the 4nine, which was my original intention. I wanted a set up that played with "tones" that blended well together, as opposed to the usual matching RBA and mech, and I am very happy that I decided to go this route instead.
I think I am gonna try to deepen the straw tone on the Kraken tomorrow ... I think.Here they are Female, and Male 4nine

This little craft projects are so quick and easy compared to the some of the things I used make ... I am very "crafty" Thank you darling, and I actually don't need to deepen anything on the Kraken, I woke up this morning and it turned very Dark Straw

Oh thank you Baby Jesus that Doris got a better Copper 4nine .. I actually meant to email her to tell her DO NOT get the one that FT just put up yesterday, the magnetic spacer on it is horrible! This Copper 4nine has an engraved switch, and a proper spacer with copper ring around the magnet for better conductivity.
So yeah, Copper 4nine on deck, along with another Copper Nemesis (uncoated copper), a steampunked Chi You V3, another great looking King V2 brass, and some Knight style 26650 mod.

Does anyone know which skus for the king v2 clones have solid copper contacts and not copper plated brass? I have an sxk/infinite dusted and angelcigs brass clones and they both have copper plated brass contacts.

That is what I had to do last night to curb the Penny pain 
I like the Morpheus more than the Buffalo .. but then again, I need to see the Buffalo in 350 mode to be sure. Right now the Penny has me in a bad way, that mech is so damn beautiful it hurts me.
The King V2 brass that went up today, and the SS matte V2 with no logo ...
