24 26 or 28 for the cores, 32 36 or 40 for the wrap. If you are using a regulated device then resistance isn't important. Use steam-engine to model your builds. You can approximate the target resistance by just counting the core wire resistance, or use the more advanced section for more accuracy.

My personal favorite is single or fused 26G with 36G wrap.

What are the top 5 combinations of Kanthol A1 gauges I can use to create a Fused Clapton that ohms out around 0.4-0.3 ohms. Note that i'm going to be using Kanthol for both the core and clapton. Also I would like to use a 3mm/2.5mm drill bit to wrap my coils around.
I would say two strands of 28 inside and wrapped with 30 or 32.

Thanks for the help! I never knew what that Wire Wizard thing was I thought it was just something random but it was actually quite helpful.

I ended up purchasing a 26G Core and 36G Wrap to correlate with my 3mm Diameter and 0.3 Ohms ending up with 7.5/7 Wraps

2x26g cores, wrap with 34g or smaller
