help with adding nic strength diy math please

I bought a 30ml bottle of Vapenjuice Kewl 70pg 30vg mix at 0 strength by accident. I wanted 24 strength.

So if I buy a nic Base, 30ml bottle of 50pg 50vg mix at 48 strength.....

a) mix both together and end up with 60ml of Kewl at 24 strength (probably with a lot less taste)

b) (was advised) add 7.2 ml of the Base to the 30ml of Kewl to get my 24 strength

Which is correct? I can't wrap my head around option b)

Your 30ml of 0mg plus a 30ml of 48mg will get you 60ml of 24.

Another way to say it....1 part 0 plus 1 part 48 = 2 parts of 24.

seems easier to just hit your vape shop and have them add the rite amount for you
