Help wrong buttons?

Hello I'm working on a vamo box mod I didnt want to use the stock buttons so I removed them and got some switches from radioshack...
They are "mini momentary push button switches"
Any ways no matter how I connect them to board the button functions reverse... Ex. Will constant fire unless I hold down button....

Hopefully I just got the wrong switches and someone will be able to point me in the right direction....

maybe you have an On-(Off) momentary button switch.

should get a Off-(On) momentary button switch.

get a 3 amp no (normally open) switch.
