No, they are on that site though, listed for $14.95.

I know sometimes these vapor-sites can really stick a heavy mark up on products. batteries aren't all that expensive to buy wholesale and I do see some sites with them listed for 6$ so maybe 4$ isn't SO farfetched? It would be easy for someone to buy them for 3$ a pop and charge 10 - 15 because the name Panasonic, plus with these e-cig related things people typically will just bite and spend a little more if it comes from a vapor-store. Supposing it gives them buyer faith and peace of mind.

Those are CG, not CH. Not sure what the difference is other than color, but I passed because I didn't want to get the wrong ones. I hope someone can explain the difference.

Well, they don't appear to be either protected OR IMR so I think I'll pass. My buddy ordered 6 of them so I guess if I have to rush him to the E.R with a bad case of cheap-batteries-made-my-mod-explode-in-my-face-itus, We'll know for sure

:p

be sure to read about how important battery safety is. A ton of people my self included, only use AW brand batteries.you really cant put a price on safety.:2c:

Which is why I passed, figured better safe than sorry. I do like the CGR18650cH though, even better than the AW's. It's sad they discontinued them.

Well, for one thing, the CG is not a high drain battery. Maximum current draw is 2.5 amps. CH is 10 amps. For most of us, 2.5 amps is plenty, and some of our devices even cut off before that. However, since CG is not an IMR battery, I don't think the chemistry is quite as safe. I would say it depends on what device you are going to use these in. You might not want to use them in a mechanical mod powering RBAs.

i did a lot of searching and after about 20 minutes i figured out these batteries are from panasonic's industrial division. the CG18650 you guys are referring to does NOT appear to be protected. I searched through rose electronics division and fedco electronics, both are authorized manufacturer/ distributor's of panasonic in north america. The only reference i could find is that they are only approved for use with "approved safety circuit"

Great find, and I didn't see it until after my last post!

Kable, I have not seen any spec on max discharge of these. Not doubting your 2.5 A, but if you know where you got that from a link would be great :toast:
