Joyetech eGrip - burning flavor?

Just got a new Joyetech egrip. After a couple of puffs I get a nasty burning flavor. Even when its on its lowest setting. Before using it I filled it with juice, did a few hard sucks on the mouthpiece with it off and left it alone for about an hour. First couple hits were fine but then i get a really nasty taste. Let it sit for another hour, same thing happened. This is at either 8 watts or 20 watts.

This has never happened with my Nautilus tank on my iStick. I could vape, wait 10 seconds, vape again, over and over. Is there something wrong with how Im vaping it or with my device or the coil?

This is a known issue of the stock coil heads. The regular Aspire BVC heads will also fit (when exchanging the plus pin) and perform much better. Eleaf (a Joyetech division) Air GS coils also fit, although it is rumored they are basically the same as stock heads.
Another alternative is the RBA base.
