Lower temp to 400,,watts (ramp up) to 25 watts.
Still harsh? Open & experiment with airflow.
Next, juice,, nico& PG can cauze irritation to throat..
Original Kit with the Ego one mega tank? That was a horrible tank :X
it's still harsh, not a lot of smoke comes out and it's not the juice soooo
This is how I feel about all factory coil TC vaping.
Harsh, not a lot of vape comes out & I know my own liquid.
It's all rather odd.
The mod is actually a great mod, I'd really recommend a another tank, if you can't rebuild the Ultimo tank by Joyetech is pretty decent and the coils last a while..yes it's overall horrible

When starting my vape at low wattage, I find that the wattage that works for me is usually a few watts over the lowest watt setting (where i can barely see the vape cloud on the exhale). Lower watt settings lessen the chance of burning the liquid and generates the best flavor IMO.
After I get my Atty (coil and chamber heat up) going for awhile, I will often times turn the mod down or up a watt or so to see if I can taste more flavor. I'm often surprised at how much better tasting the vape can be by adjusting the vape temp/wattage.

Your atomizer. I despise factory coils, can't help ypu there.
I feel factory coils are designed to appeal to the lowest common denominator. Which I'm not a member.
Your best chance may be a vape shop. Maybe try some toppers out.
