Kanger Mini Protank II(ego) on Halo Triton Battery(Vgo)

As the title says, i am trying to use a Kanger mini protank II on my Halo Triton. The mini is a ego threading and the triton is vgo(808 at top with outside ego cone threading). From my understanding, they could be used together with a 808 to 510/ego adaptor.

I purchased this 901(808D)-510 Adapter (901(808D) to 510/ego) and have been unable to get it to work. Please let me know if this is the correct adapter or if i am doing anything wrong.

I do not own a Triton battery, but I do own a mini ProTank, which is an eGo (not 510) threaded device. I suggest you get a Kr808>eGo adapter, like this one:

ETA: What you bought is a kr808>510 only adapter.

I use a 510 to ego adapter with no problems. Make sure the contact in your battery is not bottomed out. If it is, it will not make contact with the adapter and will not work. I have no familiarity with 808 batteries.
