I have been rebuilding my kanger evod and pro tank II bases and am wondering what size ekowool I need to use to avoid having to put any flavor wicks on top with out it flooding or gurgling. Thanks for any info!

First, welcome to ECF!!! I'm no expert on ekowool but I have some 3mm threaded ekowool and it's too large for a protank. I heard that 3mm hollow will work better but when I put another order in, I'm going to get 2mm hollow to try.
Thanks for the welcome and the reply. Been using 2mm silica so far and always have to add some strands on top to stop the gurgling. The more you add the more it mutes the flavor. I now the 2mm ekowool is bigger than 2mm regular silica. Really wondering if I can get away with the 2mm eko without anything on top without flooding. I am sure the flavor would be way better and jus wondering what is working for other ppl and will order what ever is working. Thanks
I have 1 mm silica that I use for my Russian rba, looks like it would work with a pt coil head. Just tore down an old pt head yesterday and sized it up to the old flavor wick and it was slightly larger then the pt wick, but fit nicely in the slot.
