kr808 adapter?

I have a bunch of cartomizers left from South Beach Smoke I would like to use up. I have since bought a KR808 from V4L. Although the threads on each are very similar the SBS cartomizers don't fit on the kr808 battery. I found a picture on the forum and it looks like the SBS batteries & cartomizers are the old style kr808 while the V4L battery is a new style kr808 {if I understood it right.} I've tried using a Riva901 batt and an Ego batt but the cartomizers don't fit on either one. Is there an adapter that would let me use the old style cartomizers on the new style kr808 batteries or do I have it all backwards? Thank you for any help.
