Menthol Vs Mint Flavor

So, I've been having a lot of fun trying out and 'window shopping' different flavors, but I am very curious about one thing- Mint flavor.
There are very few mint flavor analogs that are *not* menthol, and they are fantastic, so I'd love to have a minty juice. However, I really really hate menthols! I'm intrigued by these vanilla-choco-whatever-mint combos, but a little scared they'll be a mentholy disappointment.
So with e-juices, does mint=menthol? Am I worrying too much? Or am I just being too picky?

I think it would depend on the juice manufacturer, and how they create their mint flavors. I've been vaping Dragon's Breath from ECBlend for about a month now, and it's a very good and refreshing creamy mint flavor. Then again, taste is always subjective, so YMMV.

most of the people looking for menthol flavor to replace their menthol cigs usually complain that most of the flavors are too minty

I use actual dissolved menthol crystals because I do not want a minty taste. Every vendor will be different and tastes are different, but I find that a number of e-liquids that are labeled as menthol are actually mint ( like Thrasher said ) , so I would imagine that one labeled as mint will be minty. Can't guarantee it, though.

yes it depends on the manufacturer a lot. My personal input is that if you ever smoked a Marlboro smooth then you would kind of understand the "mint" in a menthol analog. I say menthol is more like vicks vapor and mint is more like the mint you would get from a toothpaste.

I've used both Menthol and Mint, perhaps it was just the specific one that I used, but I couldn't notice too much of a difference to be honest. I found that the menthol didn't taste like analog menthol at all, and more like a nice mint candy (like a candycane)

But if you're into the minty flavours, definitely give spearmint a try. love it!

You could always email the juice maker you are looking at and ask them if they have mint only flavors without menthol, I'm sure they'd all be happy to steer you in the right direction if they have non menthol mint flavors.

I don't like menthol, but Mountain Oak Vapor has Eskimo Kisses that I enjoy. It tastes like a chocolate covered mint patty.

i prefer triple menthol to mix with strong flavores
