My Doctor Endorses E-Cig's

I had an appointment with my doctor today and informed him that I had switched to e-cig's and had not smoked a cigarette in over 2 1/2 months.

He said GREAT!!!, and pulled out a njoy sample pack and told me he recommends them to his patients who want to quit smoking.

Definitely cool! Our doctor recommended ecigs for us. I took his advice and have been smoke-free for 8+ weeks now. Very happy. My husband, on the other hand, has to go out and buy another carton of analogs tomorrow...

The fact that he does not just endorse them but has them in his office, just as he might have some medication samples to show patients is quite impressive! Wow! He is a keeper!

Which brings us to, why aren't more vaping companies doing this? Bring samples to doctors offices to give to their patients that smoke. I think it would be a great way to have patients stop smoking PLUS a definite marketing tool.

I found most Doc are ok with vaping. I had 2 Doc tell me I was better of vaping than smoking the other.

I love hearing about doctors supporting it. Most are just in neutral ground and don't really try the news story's or studies done on ecigs.

Unfortunately most modern physicians are probably reluctant to suggest any remedy that isn't fully endorsed by the various worldwide medical associations. When you find one of the old-school "toss the book, if it makes you feel healthier, you're doing it right" doctors, you gotta hang on to them. They are a rarity these days.
