Hey guys, I want to review my Revolver E-Cig!
Basically, when I ordered my package, my address ended up being undeliverable, so the product got shipped back to Revolver. During this time, Revolver were updating their entire systems pretty much, and I didn't hear back from customer service for a week and a half to two weeks, which made me pretty frantic, I'll admit. However, in the end, they replied, and sent my package to an alternate address I specified for only $2.80 additional shipping - very thoughtful to put a discount for shipping in there! Everything worked out fine, it was just a slow process.
So now to the product itself. What made me decide to go with Revolver is that they were without a doubt offering the cheapest "starter package" on the net - only $20! (for battery, USB charger, and 5 cartomizers of your flavor choice!) To top off this great deal, you could choose any color battery, LED light, cartilage flavor, and cartilage color you wanted (from a certain selection). I personally wanted the dragon print battery, but it was sold out last second!
However, what snagged me even more is the tremendous discounts Revolver seem to offer. By just participating in this forum and making a few posts under "get this if you post here" threads, I got $10 toward my first order! This didn't stop here, however, as Revolver offers a %25 discount and a %10 discount if you both "Like" them and "Share" them on Facebook, and you also get 50 cents for every product you review on their site. Amazing, amazing discounts.
The reality is that if a company isn't having as high of sales as they would like, throwing in these opportunities and discounts, and providing well-priced starter kits with neat options, really pulls in the customers. I just wouldn't have chose Revolver if they hadn't presented these types of deals. Literally all other companies sell the starter kits for around $30 and really, I just couldn't afford it!
Now to the actual product itself! Basically, my package arrived in one of those bubble-wrap envelopes, which is no problem to me. Whatever a company can do to help lower prices is fine by me, I need no fancy cardboard box or dictionary-sized instruction manual. What I did get was the great product. The size of the ION (batter + cartomizer) is shorter than a 100 cigarette - this thing is tiny! Which is in my opinion great, as I hate looking noticeable with it in social situations. Now, some people may think tiny is bad, but this thing plain packs a punch! It has the most sensitive, full-vapor puff I have ever witnessed from a normal-sized e-cig (beating all the ones that are generally bigger or longer)! The only downside to this is it tends to "turn on" in situations where air barely compresses around it (say, a pocket). It even turns on if you tap the mouth hole with your finger! However, this proves quite a positive when you take a puff, so no real harm done.
Additionally, I accidentally dropped this thing on hardwood floor, and it didn't damage it (externally or internally) in the least - works amazingly! It's a tough product, from my experience so far. To review the aesthetics of the product, it's a standard black-with-blue-LED e-cig. I've seen e-cigs that are flashier, with diamond-shaped LED's (which are really cool and not as feminen looking as they sound!) and prints and words on the e-cig, but for $12 (which is what I paid in all for this entire package, battery, cartomizers, and charger), this thing is indeed cool looking. It's much better than those ugly white+tan ones that try to look like a real cig, those colors are just kinda cheesy.
Lastly, I tried the cappucino flavor cartomizers, and while they indeed taste "good", I would say that Blu (yeah, that mainstream company everyone seems to hate) have won my taste bud test. Blu, with just their tobacco flavor, had a multilayered taste of strong, sweet cappucino with tones of caremel, buttered popcorn - and with Blu using vegetable-based vapor for their cartomizers, they really have the top-of-the-line taste and comfy feel to the throat. I would compare Revolver's taste and throat feel, however, to the "normal" e-cigs you find around everywhere, just with touches of whatever flavor you order. Better than many, just not "amazing". Very puffable though, no "negatives" really concerning flavor. If you like most e-cig flavors out there, the Revolver Cappicuno will have you puffing!
Thanks for a great product!!!
