Hey Everyone,

New member here, just started using Green Smoke 7 days ago. I ordered the starter kit with 5 cartridges - thinking of returning it because the cartridges simply run out too fast and the price is insane.

Any thoughts on whether I should stay with Green Smoke and order replacement cartridges?

Any alternatives that are better than Green Smoke, last longer, cheaper, same form-factor?

The vapor from GS tastes good, plenty of it, battery lasts a good time - just thinking it could be a little expensive and the cartridges simply do not last.

Some help is appreciated!

Thanks

My opinion? Get your money back ASAP! I tried and hated GS. The KR808 from Vapor4Life that longworth suggested is good model that will definitely suit you better and make you happier. You can buy your own blank cartos and fill them with your own juice. It's easy. It's cheap. Your head will spin from all the different flavors available.

yes the price is insane because they are one of many rip-off rebranders that not only charge too much, they totally lie about how long a cartomizer lasts. If you get a reputable unit you will pay less and be able to refill the cartos until they singe or die (1-14 refills approx)

I do not think there is anything same forum factor as greensmoke with longer lasting (between refills) cartomizers. The recommended more for cartomizers, KR808D-1 aka Vapor king at Vapor4Life will be about the same, though a slightly longer lasting slim battery is available (a longer battery which is the xl and 380mah vs 280mah for standard battery and 180mah for shorty)

One other thing with cartomizers is you don't want to burn them dry because that's what singes the stuffing or strains the internal atty, shortening or ending its reusability. You may be able to find some blank cartomizers that are a bit larger and last a bit longer. I don't think any current cartomizer will last as long as a pack of cigs but some new ones are coming along (not sure for which model) which might.

There are ways to get MUCH longer battery life but you have to go to a fat-battery version like CigEasy's Elegant Easy.

Send the Green Smoke back and go with an eGo type device. Unless you want a two piece nonrefillable, which leads to a lot more money. The V2 is a better device, but still in all after trying over 20 different kinds, learn to refill and the eGo's satisfy a smokers usual day to day needs,. Not to mention much cheaper. If you like a smaller profile and more in size like a reg cig the 510 is the way to go. Just need a few extra batteries.

Those are considered some of the worst personal vaporizers (PV). Get a refund if you can. Get a eGo or Riva 510 kit. You will be much happier. Get some blank carts and some e-liquid you think you will like and fill your own carts. It's much cheaper and tastes much better. Check out Liberty Flight: Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510. Click on the 20% off button to reduce the cost.

Thanks everyone.

Looking at getting the Joye 510. I have a couple questions:

1) Should I get eliquid + empty cartomizers (and fill myself) or filled-cartomizers?

I'm assuming that you throw the cartomizer away after it's empty, just like in the Green Smoke. With that said, I would need to buy a ton of cartomizers (@ $9 for 5) seems to cost of buying empty, pre-filled or even Green Smoke are close to the same.

Finally, what are some of the best eliquid flavors?

Yeah send it back for sure. They are a rip-off. They charge $50 for a battery that should cost $15 or at most $19 for a fancy color. And I believe they also lie badly about how long a carto lasts.

If you want that type of ecig (i.e cartomizers) get a KR808D-1 (or more colorful version Vapor King at Vapor4Life) so you'll have nice soft-tip cartos you can refill several or more times (as long as you don't run them dry which will singe the stuffing or help kill the atty)
