**NEW** Monthly Contest for LSOV Customers **NEW**

Starting August 1st every customer who places an order that month will have a chance to win a $25 gift certificate from little shop of vapors.

When you place an order you are emailed an invoice with an invoice number.
That number is your entry.

At the end of the month, using a random number generator, an invoice number will be chosen and that customer will be the winner.

Multiple orders generate multiple invoice numbers so customers can have several chances to win.

This contest will begin August 1st and continues monthly.
Winner will be contacted by e mail.

I really hate to say this, but it is against the Law to require a purchase to enter a contest...

I know that you are only trying to reward your customers, but you need to provide an alternate means of entry for people who do not wish to place an order.

places like Dollar General do it all the time. You can't enter their sweepstakes without purchasing something and getting a receipt number with which you use to enter the sweeps. I read their rules and there are no alternate entry methods. There are plenty of places which are using purchase only sweeps entries, whether or not it is supposed to happen.

Just out of curiosity, I went to the Dollar General website and found this...

If this is true I will have to re do quite a few threads but I do not want to tick off members and customers.
How to change this? Hmmm ....

I was going to post " don't forget the contest starts today" but that is a mute point.

Here is how one place handled it recently... and they had a 'free shipping option' that went with it, so you still got sent an "Invoice" with an order # on it for the drawing.
