ohm meter acting weird?

.3 sounds a little high to me too. I'm thinking 5 wraps would be closer to .3

I would try the multimeter. Touch the positive and negative leads together and that will give you the internal resistance of the meter. Deduct that from what it says your coil is. I don't like those boxes. But that's just me.

ill try cleaning it... i thought it would be more like .2 ohms i couldnt deal with that low it was too hot for me. i'll see if i can fix it now i added another wrap and its reading .54 ohms which still seems high but oh well
im using efest 30&35a batteries i know there are some disputes on them but i bought what i bought

those 35 amp efest batteries only have a 20 amp continuous rating..

is this your first parallel-coil build? they get hot much faster than other arrangements
