Package watching on a nice May day

UPS usually has an efficient path for our packages. But today my package arrived in my city and then went north last night to Richmond. It has come back to San Jose and is out for delivery. That is just weird.

Exactly....lol I had a mailman blacklist my home once. When I went down to pick up December's packages, the fellow at the counter bowed over backwards to give me my packages. The post office was like the old Maytag repairman commercials. Empty.8)

If you're talking about USooPS - not UPS - the only time I have seen that weird misdirection lately was with stuff sent Media Mail rate. It got in the State... then it actually went back out of the State... then it took a completely different tracking route than usual once it came back over the State border. Weird - but it happened more than once.

I wrote it off at the time as being USPS Media Mail service. But perhaps not?

My favorite is a UPS center back east. It handles packages from New England states to New York. The center crosses state lines in one building. My D&R tobacco orders always sat there like a country boy sipping on a beer.
