Well, I came here looking for an answer to my problem.....maybe not. My GF and I have both been vaping for almost 3 months now. Neither of us, over our lifetimes, has taken great care of our teeth. My dentist (when I had insurance) told me for years that smoking is causing the bone deterioration that was causing the tooth loss. For so many reasons, I quit smoking and began vaping.
NOW...both of us are experiencing the same problem...swollen gums and bleeding. Hers is at the top front teeth, mine is the bottom front teeth. Both are related to the way we draw on our e-cigs. Neither of us has insurance or money put aside, so a dentist is not the answer right now.
Currently, we are brushing our teeth gently but thoroughly...and finishing with a Listerine rinse. Any ideas??
Just more info: I have always had a plaque factory in my mouth and I know I need a deep cleaning...hell, I can see the tarter at the gum-line, slowly growing out over my teeth (um...ewwww...lol). I really am not going to try actual bleach...lol.
Thanks!!

Bleeding gums is very commonly associated with quitting smoking and increased blood flow, it's also a sign of gingivitis, the infection that causes periotontal disease. Personally id start with the FBI floss, brush, rinse routine. It's really helped me a lot with pain in my bone and gum line.. Also getting a deep cleaning will help.

Rinse with salt water(couple of Tblsp in a glass of water) to stop the bleeding and put down the Listerine. That burn you feel does not mean its working, only that its burning your gums.

Get some dental pics from walmart and try to clean that plaque which is probably calcium(sp).

You might also be having a reaction to the PG in your juice.:toast:

I dont see that anyone else has said anything about this, so another recommendation I would make as someone who has periodontal disease and at one time had 7mm pockets is a waterpik. I use mine everyday with luke warm water and my pockets are half the size they were 3 months ago. Albeit I've also had a scaling since then, so I'm sure both have contributed but my dentist is very happy.
