Please Help: Battery Alternatives for REO Grand

Because I can't seem to find a shop that sells the battery recommended for the REO Grand (the AW IMR 18650 3.7v 1600mAh) here in Japan, I am looking for alternatives.

I have found the following models:

AW IMR 18650 High Drain 2000mAh Li-Mn
AW 18650 Li-Ion 2200mAh 67mm, with nipple
MNKE IMR18650 High Drain 1500mAh
xtar IMR18650 2250mAh Li-ion rechargeable
JETBEAM.JP IMR18650-2000-BT 2000mAh

If you use either of these yourself, or know your way around batteries, could you please advise which of these will work wrt size (65mm for the AW IMR 1600 vs up to 67.1 for others), performance (I'll be using the RM2) and safety?

I've used the AW IMR 18650 2000 mAH from the beginning and still do in my daily driver REO. Many others here do as well. They have a 10A limit instead of the 24A limit of the 1600. I've sub-ohmed the 2000 mAH at 0.5Ω at about 8A with no problems. I have some 1600 and can't tell any difference in the vape. I highly recommend the 2000.

I will agree with this statement as well. I have used them for about 6 months now with no problems. I generally use about 1.6 ohm on my atty.

I use the panasonic 18650pd's 2900mah almost exclusively in my grands. They are a hybrid with similar safety characteristics as the IMR batteries.

They max at 10amps discharge and only compress my spring about 40%. I have had no contact issues with the firing pin and they last a really long time. The hybrid chemistry allows for high drain while also allowing for a higher total mah.

They are made in japan I believe, so you shouldn't have too hard a time finding these.

Thanks, I had enquired about them in a different thread and someone was concerned about their high drain performance, saying they topped out at 5 amps. Might have been a different model tho.
