Problem with IPV D2

Hello guys.
Recently I stopped using my lovely ipv d2. The reason is every time I put the battery in the device the charging red light turns on by it self without charging it. After some time the device is getting too hot. And stop working with a logo of ipv on the screen.
Could anyone please tell me what is the problem with it ??.

I don't actually know either, but from your description it sounds like an isolation diode between the main board and the charging board is fried. Never use a mod that gets hot under power. Let me also add welcome to the board and sorry about the bad news. I think it's toast.

Sounds as if the board in tour MOD is ruined.

This is why I always recommend people use an external 18650 charger because if the battery gets way too hot or vents it could ruin your mod.
